Origins of the Swamp The historic headwaters of Bulow Creek start in the large freshwater basin which is Graham Swamp. More than 2,500 sections of land of the property are covered by wetland hardwood swamp. The rest of the property is forested upland that borders the basind and structures small islands within the swamp. Graham Swamp had been intensely affected by past ditching and the construction of dikes.
